**Kedarnath - The Yatra:** Nestled in the majestic **Garhwal Himalayas** at **3,583 meters**, Kedarnath is more than just a destination; it’s a **journey of faith and devotion**. The yatra begins from **Haridwar** or **Rishikesh**, leading pilgrims through **scenic valleys, sacred rivers, and historic towns**. The final leg of the journey is a **16-kilometer trek from Gaurikund**, where the **Mandakini River** flows alongside, offering both **solace and strength**. With every step, the **mesmerizing views** and **spiritual chants** inspire perseverance. As you near the temple, the **crisp mountain air** and the **aura of divinity** erase all fatigue, leaving you in awe of the towering **Kedarnath Temple** set against the **snow-covered peaks**.

**Spiritual Significance:** Reaching the temple is not just a **physical achievement** but a **deeply spiritual moment**. **Legend of the Pandavas:** According to **ancient lore**, after the great **Mahabharata war**, the **Pandavas** sought **Lord Shiva’s blessings** to atone for their sins. Shiva, reluctant to forgive them, **disguised himself as a bull** and fled to **Kedarnath**. As the Pandavas pursued him, Shiva **dove into the earth**, leaving behind his **hump**, which is now **worshiped as the Shivling in the Kedarnath Temple**. It is believed that this **temple was built at the very site where Lord Shiva vanished**.

**Legend of Nar and Narayana:** Another legend speaks of the **twin sages, Nar and Narayana**, who performed **intense penance** at Kedarnath. Pleased by their **devotion**, Lord Shiva **appeared before them**, granting their **request to stay here eternally** as the **presiding deity**. This **sacred site** is one of the **12 Jyotirlingas**, the **holiest shrines of Lord Shiva**, and a key pilgrimage in India’s revered **Char Dham circuit**.

Accommodation:: 4 Days 03 Nights Accommodation during the yatra will be provided using Standard Category of hotel / Home stay/ Guest House/Camp at all locations in Base room category on Triple sharing and Quad sharing basis.

Meals:: Meals as specified in the itinerary on MAP basis in Guptkashi and Kedarnath (it will be basic Indian vegetarian Meals on buffet basis i.e. Breakfast and Dinner only).

Transportation:: Transportation using private vehicle on sharing basis from Haridwar/Rishikesh till Haridwar/Rishikesh as per the itinerary and given routine.

Toll Tax & Driver Allowances:: All toll tax, parking, fuel, Green Tax, and driver allowances.

Guides:: Experienced and Qualified Guides.

Forest Permits:: Required permits for forest areas.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations 21 days before the trip departure date: A 10 % deduction will be made covering GST, offerings, and services.The remaining 90 % could be issued in on - foot vouchers valid for 12 months

Cancellations 12 - 15 days before the trip departure date: A 30% deduction can be made covering GST, offerings, and services.The final 70% might be issued in trip vouchers valid for 1 year.

Cancellations 10 days before the trip departure date: A 50% deduction might be made covering GST, offerings, and services.The remaining 50% will be given in the shape of hiking vouchers, valid for 1 year.

Cancellations 1 - 7 days before the trip departure date: No refunds are available, as 100% of the charge will be deducted.This is because all of the plans would have already been fixed for your hike.

For payments made up to 16 days before the trip: Booking amount is compulsory. 50% payment is optional. 75% payment is optional. 100% payment is optional.

For payments made between 15-8 days before the trip: Booking amount is compulsory. 50% payment is compulsory. 75% payment is optional. 100% payment is optional.
